DESCRIPTION:CARE IMX : FUTURE IMMERSIVE HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL AN
 D HOME SETTING\nhttps://careimx.wordpress.com/\n\nThe rising accessibility
  of immersive media technologies opens the opportunity to use them easily 
 in in-hospital and home environments for healthcare. The possibility to co
 mpletely immerse users or patients in virtual environments\, or to augment
  their surroundings\, while tracking their movements and physiological rea
 ctions\, provide new ways to induce or analyze user experiences. In the he
 althcare context\, immersive media give new opportunities for diagnosis th
 rough the study of patient behaviors in controlled environments\, as well 
 as rehabilitation\, by enabling patients to train in specific and personal
 ized controlled tasks. In an at-home context\, immersive media give opport
 unities to monitor and train mental and physical skills in order to improv
 e users' health and/or well-being.\n\nCare IMX is a half-day workshop of t
 he IMX 2023 Conference\, bringing together interdisciplinary medical\, tec
 hnological and social science researchers.\n\nWe are looking for submissio
 ns on the various topics related to care IMX:\n• Theoretical aspects of 
 IMX in medical and well-being contexts: embodiment\, 4E cognition\, etc.\n
 • Enabling technologies for immersive media experience in medical contex
 ts: controlling and rendering\n• Data collection systems for health appl
 ication in immersive media: behavioral\, physiological\, etc.\n• Design 
 methods for IMX technologies in medical and well-being contexts\n• Diagn
 osis of mental\, physiological and physical impairment in immersive system
 s\n• Treatment\, rehabilitation\, training of mental\, physiological and
  physical impairments in immersive systems\n• Clinical practices using I
 MX\n• Evaluation methods for IMX systems in medical and well-being conte
 xts\n• Politics\, ethics\, and managerial issues in immersive technologi
 es-enhanced environments\n\nParticipant should submit a 4-page short paper
  or 2-page position or demonstration paper\, outlining their perspective o
 r experience with respect to the workshop topics In order to promote colla
 boration with the industrial community\, we will allow practitioners to su
 bmit a short Prezi\, Keynote\, Powerpoint\, video presentation\, or demons
 tration that would allow them to efficiently delineate and express their m
 ain points\, in place of a paper.\n\nSchedule and important dates:\n• De
